Founded in 2015, Guitar Shed is Atlanta’s home for music lessons—guitar, piano, drums, voice, violin, and more. In-person or online, private or group lessons for kids, teens and adults at every stage of their musical journey.

Launching in 2026, Songs from the Shed is a video content series that celebrates songwriting, storytelling and musicianship. Each episode spotlights an artist with Atlanta roots, sharing insights from their musical journey and teaching the audience to play one of their songs—with video learning and downloadable transcriptions/charts.

ATL Songs is a monthly songwriter series presented by Guitar Shed, celebrating the depth and diversity of Atlanta’s songwriting community. The night features an open mic and in-the-round songwriting showcase.

We manage and support Lanta Gras and ShedFest each year, spotlighting our students and raising money for music scholarships. We also collaborate with a range of neighborhood festivals and parades to provide outreach and performance opportunities.
